Esther KoskeiFairtrade Fortnight this year marks Rutland’s 10th anniversary of gaining its Fairtrade status.  We will have a special visit from a Fairtrade coffee producer from Kenya. Esther Koskei will speak at 10.45am at The Big Brew Fairtrade Coffee Tasting to be held at Oakham Methodist church hall on Saturday 4th March from 10am to 12noon. Esther is chair of the Kabng’etuny Women in Coffee Association in Kenya and she will tell us of the impact which Fairtrade standards have had on coffee growers in her community. All are welcome to come and hear Esther talk, and to sample a variety of excellent Fairtrade coffees, as well as teas and home-made cakes.
